God Is Love

Three small words with a meaning as vast as the universe; words a child can read; yet as mysterious as creation; a phrase so profound as to escapr the wisest; yet to the humble, a living experience.
He loved before time began;
He loved mankind though they rebelled and rejected His authority.
He loved as the effects of man's sin spread chaos throughout the world.
Because He loved, He came to save.
Because He loved, Jesus suffered the agony of the cross, the guiltless did in place of the guilty.
Because He loved, God raised Jesus from the dead to a place of authority and power.
Because He still loves, He gives new life to all those who receive Jesus as LORD and Saviour

In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us first

God loves you and me
Love looks for,
but does not demand a response

Amen!
