something new i learnt during the worship seminar is: life is worship;worship is life. and there was this exercise we were doing today that tasks us to include God in whatever daily routine/activity we're doing every day.well i was particularly awake for today's sermon. it's taken from Mark 12:13-17. Jesus made a really important statement in verse 17, that is:
Then Jesus said to them, "Give to Caesar what is Caesar's and to God what is God's." And they were amazed at him.
He gave a really clever answer to the Herodians and Pharisees who were trying to trap Him.
and that statement brings across this point: we need to balance our responsibilities in this world, as well as to be faithful Christians.
#1: obey the Law(of whatever country you're living in), as well as God's Law
#2: serve the government, as well as serve God
#3: pay taxes to the government, as well as your tithes to the Church(that is paying back 10% to God)
#4: live a lawful life, in the world, as well as in God's faith.
see how hard being a Christian is? but i know that it's SO WORTH IT :D
